I had a hard time choosing between the XMens and Spiderman, but I opted for the XMens. They seem like deeper movies, both conceptually and with their craft.

However, I think the greatest underrated superhero movie of all time is The Rocketeer. Just beginning-to-end perfect, and exceptional by a number of standards.
