I'm an idiot

Yes, believe it or not, it's true. I was so interested in getting a journal out on Tuesday that I totally forgot the most important point.

Toni has officially turned 19! Yes, she has finally become legal-drinking age in Canada. A reason enough to entice a visit, I think.

I've got a great gift for her, but I told her that she has to come here to get it, or I have to hand deliver it. The latter is what's going to be the case (details later), but gifts are always much better when you can actually see the reaction, be it positive or negative.

She celebrated her birthday by getting herself trapped in her own home after moving around furniture. We don't really want to ask how that happened, but we should all smile, nod and wish her all the best in her new world of maturity and late-night partying!

Well, it's pretty cool, anyway. ^PoeticWar and I will be running some NaPo themed contests out of the forums all month, and the first is a pretty neat one that you should all give a try. What do you have to lose besides a bit of time that you'd normally be wasting READING MY JOURNALS? Nothing, exactly.

I'm going to be taking a bit of a vacation later this month. I end my final workterm at the end of April and don't start school for a week and a bit. Looked up some flights to England (I was invited back) and got a flight for an amazing price. Seriously, you wouldn't even believe it. So, I'll be heading there! Looking forward to it.

I will stress again, because she'd want me to, that Toni is a fantastic hostess. Even if her creatures are a bit insane.
